Date read : 14.09.2021 – 17.09.2021
Queen of Storm is the second instalment of the Firemane saga written by the author Raymond E feist. before I continue to more about this book in particular I have to say that I have been a big fan of Raymond E. Feist since I laid my eyes on his first book. Since then I’ve read all his work and was deeply sadden to see his writing of Midkemia saga come to an end with The magician end release in 2013. In 2020 during the lockdown I was looking for something that I really wanted to read and I happened upon the first book of the Firemane Saga, The king of Ashes, I was really happy to find my self back in a world created by Raymond E. Feist.
I was not writing any book reviews at that time so do not have any book reviews of Raymond E. Feist on my blog but I do have a habit of rereading my favorite selection of his books time and again if I do that I will sure to write their reviews here.
Be for I go on I would like to name the books included in the first saga written by him here, which really got me hooked on to him. these books are The Magician Apprentice, The Magician Master, Silverthon, A Darkness at Sethanon.
Now lets get back to writing about the firemane saga and then the queen of storm
I enjoyed reading the first book of the saga, king of ashes, The second book picks up right were the first book left off. You really enjoy reading tales of how someone built a new life after going through so much difficulties and as you read you hope that they continue living so peacefully, but if they do then how will the plot develop. So they happy little life the main character had built is torn apart and as is the trademark writing of Raymond E. Feist all of them are thrown to different parts of the world. Some new development and some mysteries solved.
All in all I am looking forward to the next book in this series
