A Darkness Return marks a new saga beginning by Raymond E Feist. And I’ve read all his books starting from the Magician till Magicians End. Then when he started writing Firemane Saga the first book King of Ashes I read with some apprehensions weather he will be able to do justice like the story of Magician Pug and company in all the long years of their journey after finishing the first book I was somewhat relived that it is something new that he had started and not returning to Midkemia and with the second book I was reassured but all that hope came crashing with the end of the third book as pug travels Midkemia through a rift hole. Moving along as far as A darkness Return is concerned, this is the lowest stars I’ve ever given to any of his books. The problem I faced with this book was I found the books ladling us with unnecessary information in at least 70 odd pages also I think he’s made his new lead Hatu something too perfect after coming into his powers. and I really hope that he improves a bit in coming books of the Dragon War Saga. Although this book has left me with great disappointment I will still read the next book when it comes out, I have been following his works for far too long to leave it in the middle and I pray that it’ll be a lot improved
