The Code Breaker : Jennifer Doudna, Gene Editing and the future of Human Race is the second Biography I’ve read by Walter Isaacson. The First one was Steve Jobs, although I took considerably short period to finish it than this one.
The book discusses about the CRISPR technology its development and its capability along with the moral issues of using it to edit human genes and getting genetically tailored babies
When I picked up this book I was worried as to whether I will be able to understand all the bio-tech related parts of the book although I confess that most of it did escape me but it wasn’t as difficult to read and understand as I had believed.
I liked the book and would recommend it to readers for a better understanding of Gene Editing technology
